2003 Website Updates

• November 23, 2003: Added a special journal entry.

• September 3, 2003: I felt lead to re-open the Leave a Message to Rachel section.  Leave your expressions of thanks and love to her in this section.

• August 12, 2003: I'm finally back home from my summer of travels.  Added a journal entry.

• June 16, 2003: Broke the guest book into two pages.

• June 15, 2003: Added a journal entry.

• June 13, 2003: Completely re-organized my journal section to aid in easier navigation and organization of the material in that section.

• June 12, 2003: Added a link to the links page.

• June 10, 2003: I have been home a week and it's good to be back home.  I have added my final journal entry for my Littleton trip journals.  Thank you all who prayed for me and who have taken the time to read what I wrote.

• June 2, 2003: Added a new photo album to the photo section from my trip to Littleton in May.  Also updated my complete journals from my recent trip to Colorado.  I am currently in Oklahoma till Thursday visiting family and have had very limited internet access, hence the slowness in updates.

• May 11, 2003: Journal will be updated daily during my visit in Littleton this week.

• May 10, 2003: Arrived safely in Littleton Colorado and added a journal entry.

• May 09, 2003: Added a journal entry.

• April 24, 2003: Added some photos of Charlotte Wilkinson performing Watch the Lamb on April 20th, 2003 in Rachel's memory. 

• April 21, 2003: Added a journal entry.

• April 20, 2003: We will always Remember. Rest in peace. Cassie Bernall, Steven Curnow, Corey DePooter, Kelly Fleming, Matthew Kechter, Daniel Mauser, Dan Rohrbough, Dave Sanders, Rachel Scott, Isaiah Shoels, John Tomlin, Lauren Townsend, and Kyle Velasquez.  I pray everyone had a good Easter on this sad day.

• April 16, 2003: Added a new journal entry.

• April 11, 2003: Added a link to the Official Columbine Memorial website located at Clement Park, in Littleton Colorado.

• April 9, 2003: Added a journal entry.

• April 8, 2003: Added a new song to the poem section.  I also added the mp3 of the song as well.  It is written by Donnie Storms, who's heart was touched greatly by Rachel's story.  It's a really beautiful tribute to Rachel.  Download it now (it's 5 MB, so it will take a few minutes depending on your connection speed) or you can jump over to the poem section. 

• April 7, 2003: My heart was so completely touched by Jessica Lynch, I took the journal entry I did on the 2nd one step further and made a complete section in dedication to her.  May God's blessings be upon her as her body, heart and soul begins the process of healing. 

• April 2, 2003: Added a special journal entry in dedication to Jessica Lynch.  May God BLESS THE USA!

• March 31, 2003: The daily blessings that was on the main page are no more.  Apparently someone hacked christiansunite.com.  So in it's place I placed a area for notes and announcements.

• March 28, 2003: Added a poem to the poetry section.

• March 23, 2003: Added a new Journal Entry.  Also added a new section.  Leave Rachel a Message.  For a temporary time, you can leave Rachel a message.  In May before I leave to Littleton, I will print these notes and expressions of love out and bring them with me.  When I visit her grave, I will leave these notes there.

• March 22, 2003: Leave a message or flowers for Rachel at her findagrave.com page.  Virtual memorial sponsored by RachelJoyScott.Net  I also added a new section to the site, "I forgive you."

• March 21, 2003: Added a new Journal Entry.

• March 20, 2003: I am moving this site to a new hosting company.  This does nothing with the sites appearance, it's just that the content of the site is being moved to a much better and more reliable hosting company. (Pair Networks)  I don't anticipate it, but the site could possibly be down for a short time tomorrow. 

• February 25, 2003: I have begun planning for my next trip to Littleton in May of this year.  I have started a new journal specifically for this trip.  You can view it by jumping over to the journal section.

• February 14, 2003: Wishing everyone a happy and wonderful Valentine's Day

• February 03, 2003: Added Rachel's funeral transcript to the "who is Rachel" section of the site.

• January 18, 2003: Added an exciting new feature to the site.  Jump on over to the message board. Here you can post on how Rachel's legacy has touched your life, submit prayer requests, post poems, and much more! The board even has a chat room!  Help get some discussion going by visiting it today.

• January 14, 2003: Added a new journal entry!  Added a new link to the more info page.

• January 11, 2003: Added a cool little scrolling java thing to the main page.  This will be beneficial in getting info out, such as announcements or news.
  Created a brand new section.  If you'd like to find books about Rachel jump over to the store.

• January 10, 2003: Did some behind the scenes updates and stuff to the html code of the main and index page.  Also added a new logo for all the headers on all pages.  A little new look for 2003.
  Also added some text navigation to the main page.

• January 9, 2003: I was surfing the net for web pages related to Rachel and found some interesting ones that I have not seen before.  So I added them to the link section to share with you.  One page has a rare photo of Rachel being baptized.

• January 4, 2003: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful new years.  I updated my journal and added a new entry to bring in the new year.  I also cleaned this page up and swept the old stuff into the archive section.

2002 Website Updates

• December 16, 2002: Once again just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  May God's blessings be upon you this season.  I am heading out of town tomorrow for a week.  Things will be pretty hectic and busy for the rest of December, so there will be no updates until the beginning of next year.  Until then, God bless and thanks for visiting the site.

• December 8, 2002: Added a new section to the cool stuff area. 

• December 06, 2002: Added two really awesome poems to the poem section. Added a new link to the more information section.

• December 02, 2002: Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.  I was out of town in Oklahoma for the past week visiting family.  I'm back now.  Added a Christmas note to the main page.  Hope everyone is ready for Christmas.  Also added a new journal entry.

• November 19, 2002: Added a new section under cool stuff, called quotes.  These are various quotes pertaining to Rachel, ranging from people I know personally, to celebrities.

• November 9, 2002: Added another journal entry.

• November 8, 2002: Did a much over due revamping of my personal website.  So if you want to check out what makes the webmaster of this site tick and get a in depth look at his life, jump on over!

• November 6, 2002: 4 in the morning, I couldn't sleep and God touches my heart for an idea for a journal entry.  So from 4 to 6 AM I typed up a very special journal entry about another girl who was just as strong of a influence in my life as Rachel is.  Read about her HERE.

• November 5, 2002: Added some random links to the info/link page.

• November 1, 2002: Created a contact page, instead of just having an email link.  This gives the visitor more options as to how to contact me if they need to talk to me.  Also divided the journal into several pages.  This makes it easier to navigate though it and it's not just one huge bulky page.

• October 31, 2002: Temporarily replaced the entrance page photo with a more suiting photo being that today is Halloween.  Happy trick or treating!!

• October 28, 2002: Added a better navigation structure to the journal section.  Makes it easier to get from entry to entry. Also added a song to the poems section.  I heard it at a praise and worship service and it totally reminded me of Rachel.  It brought me to tears then and now when I hear it.

• October 24, 2002: Added a special journal entry honoring a young girl that reminds me of Rachel.  Added two more pomes.  An awesome song simply titled, Rachel.  Thanks Charlotte for sending this info.

• October 19, 2002:  Added another journal entry.  Also as part of my own little ministry I am doing in honor of Rachel and most importantly in following God's will, I have purchased about 100 copies of Rachel's Tears.  I will be giving these away free to people in my area who are interested in Rachel or simply desire a stronger walk with God and be inspired, though Rachel's example.  Eventually I will be offering the book free though the website.  Check back here for more information when that time comes.

• October 17, 2002: Added another link to the links section.  A wonderfully made site that includes streaming videos on Columbine.

• October 16, 2002: Corrected a problem with one of the graphics.  Thanks William for noticing that. And added a few more Rachel related links to the links section.

• October 15, 2002: Having trouble sleeping so I did a journal entry.  Enjoy!

• October 12, 2002: Added a poem in the cool stuff section and a journal entry.  Also went though the pages and made minor corrections to the text and fixed a few broken links.

• October 11, 2002: Added another journal entry.  Updated the credit and thank you section.

• October 8, 2002: Corrected a issue for Netscape users.  People who are using Netscape have been getting HTML code instead of the actual page, this problem has been corrected.  I highly recommend though that for best viewing of these pages, you use Microsoft.  Internet Explorer.  You can download it at Microsoft's website.  Also updated my testimony.  I invite you to check it out by clicking HERE.

• October 7, 2002: Added another journal entry.  Added one new picture to the photo section.

• October, 6, 2002: Praise God, I am back home.  I have done another journal entry.  I thank you all for your prayers and support.  It has been life changing and a blessing.

• October 3, 2002:  Added another journal entry.  I am in Wilson, Oklahoma now, enjoying my visit with my brother, family and his church.

• October 1, 2002: What an awesome and blessed trip, I am now in Oklahoma visiting my brother.  Added a journal entry.  Also updated the photo section with my Littleton Photos.

• September 28, 2002: Added a journal entry.

• September 27, 2002: After a very tiring drive, I am finally rested up and was out and about in Littleton.  I visited Rachel's grave, you can read about it in my journal.  I took some pictures as well, I will be posting these shortly.

• September 25, 2002: ONE MORE DAY.  Opened the photo album, and added my final journal entry from home.  Others will be while I'm in Littleton and on the road.

• September 24, 2002: Added a new journal entry.

• September 20, 2002: Added a new journal entry. 

• September 16, 2002: Added a section about me, which briefly tells about who I am.  I figured the visitors would want to see the goofy guy responsible for this site.

• September 15, 2002: Added cool stuff section.  This section contains, poems, my little CD tribute to Rachel, and other stuff soon to come.

• September 14, 2002:  RachelJoyScott.Net is born.  This site is a expansion of my original one page tribute site.  It is my heart's desire for this page to touch and inspire lives, and also to pay honor and tribute to a young girl who has deeply touched my own life and my walk with God.  I hope you enjoy.
