Dear Rachel,

I never knew you, but your life and the way you shined for Christ, forever changed my life.  I made a 1200 mile trip from Texas just to say “thank you”  For being such an incredible inspiration to me. 

Words simply can not express my heart felt thanks to you.  You inspire me to do better in life, to get into a deeper relationship with God, and to show kindness toward others.  You are my shining angel.  I look forward to the day, when I can see you face to face in heaven, and give you a hug and say thank you Rachel, for living for God. 

Until then, I leave you a part of me that means a lot.  This silver chain, with cross, anchor, and ship’s wheel, I have owned since I was a teen.  I’ve worn it everywhere, and it’s been a symbol of my faith in God.  I lay it before you, as a gift and thanks from my heart and soul.

God bless you Rachel Joy Scott and save a place for me in heaven.  You will always be the JOY in my life.  See you there someday!
